Psalm 147:3 King James Version
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

Have you ever had a physical injury? Was it a big wound or just a small scratch? How was the pain? Dealing with a broken heart is almost the same.
A broken heart can feel like a very painful wound that has refused to heal. If the infestation continues, the person may suffer complications. The worst part of a broken heart is that it is a wound on the inside that manifests on the outside.
Broken hearts are usually born from a place of pain, loss, cruelty, hatred, treachery, and betrayal. It is never from somewhere innocent.
Human actions are in most cases governed by their emotions, and such negative emotion like heartbreak can cause a serious damage to the body. Healing a physical wound is so much easier; emotional wounds are the exact opposite.

Emotional wounds don’t just heal on their own overtime like the physical wound, it takes a lot of deliberate work to get it to heal.
A broken heart can make you feel lonely; the person may feel as if no one will truly understand. This is absolutely true! No one ever truly understands; they are not in your shoes, so they can’t totally get it.
However, in as much as this is true, you don’t have to carry your burden all alone. Your friends, loved ones, and family members may not be there for you, but you still don’t have to carry all the pains and the hurt all by yourself.
God is strong and powerful enough to shoulder all our burdens; He’s capable! Oh, only if you know how mighty our God is. He is so mighty that we simply can’t comprehend it.
God doesn’t want us to face or handle any problems or situations alone. God made us; He knows we will always need His support. You don’t have to feel alone, overwhelmed, scared, sad, worried, or worthless, Jesus is always there for you.

Just let go of the burdens, He’s got you!
Dearly beloved, our Heavenly Father is always with us every step of the way. He is right there, even with all the pain. Remember, that even our Lord Jesus suffered betrayal.
Imagine how he must have felt when one of His closest men betrayed Him? When Peter denied Him? He must have felt alone.
Although it may feel like the world is against you, you are not fighting alone. God is fighting with you. Our Heavenly Father is always with you. He will not let you go through this all by yourself.
He was there when you were killing it in the boardroom, enjoying time out with the kids, slaying at a night out or binging on Netflix at home. How much more now? He is always there; ready and waiting.

Ready to hold you, comfort you and listen to you. He is ready to start that healing journey with you.
Attempting to heal a broken heart can be challenging without the right support. It is easy to push people away and be cold. Let the hurt go. It will not be easy, and it will take time, but it is worth it.
After a broken heart, you may feel vulnerable and opening your heart to others can seem impossible. Don’t be afraid or worried that it will happen again, just be careful and do not live in despair or fear of not wanting to be hurt again.
Though it may seem terrifying, try to open your heart again. Don’t keep the walls up forever. Keeping the walls up is not a guarantee that you won’t get hurt again.
Dearly beloved, turn to prayers and you will find peace. Search the scriptures and God’s word will soothe you. All we just need to do is get to know him. No matter how bad it may seem, He will never forsake you.

With God’s help, you will get the strength to move forward. Regardless of the fear, God’s love will always find a way. Look at children, even when people hurt them, they still have a great capacity to love despite everything.
Surround yourself with the people that will offer you genuine support. Stop relying on your own strength to heal, allow God to do the healing. Let God mend your broken heart. Let God’s love in and the heartbreak will flee.
