You must have noticed that some people seem to have it all; great career, fantastic relationships, numerous achievements, and a clear sense of purpose. They usually make things happen for themselves with ease, the right opportunity always fall onto their laps and it seems they are just born lucky!
While others must work hard and struggle before they can make any progress. Sometimes, they put so much effort with little or no result to show for it.
They do everything right, show kindness and still suffer problems after problems. This could feel incredibly frustrating. it’s a normal feeling and you are not alone.

God doesn’t intend that our lives will be full of drudgery; He has great things in store for us. Besides, the bible is full of verses about joy.
While this is true, it does not mean that every day will feel like Christmas. It just means that our lives should be permeated with joy.
So, discard feeling like a total drag and give thanks! “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus,” 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

Trust me, I understand that it can be difficult to give thanks when you are feeling down, but it is not impossible. The idea is not about being thankful for how we feel but being thankful despite the feeling.
Take a moment and think, there’s a lot to be thankful for! May our lives be filled with the testimony of joy and thanksgiving. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
